美國加州名產：陽光、海灘、棕梠樹、距離Las Veges又近！(誤），一直都是台灣學生申請名列前茅的地區，尤其又有直飛班機，這點確實也是加分不少！
今天小編想讓大家了解美國加州大學（University of California）系統底下的10所公立大學，申請這些UC系列的大學，用的不是一般所知的Common Application申請系統，而是使用他們自己的系統『UC Application』。

你對UC Berkeley、UCLA、UC Davis、UC Irvine學校有興趣？那你絕對要提早開始瞭解UC Application！ 尤其是UC系統的大學申請截止日跟其他大學不同，通常落在每年的11月30日，若沒有特殊理由，幾乎不接受遲交的申請文件，所以我們都會提醒學生一定要盡早準備。
如果你想申請UC系統的大學，卻還在衝刺12月的SAT/ACT測驗，可以選擇考完試後自行向學校申報測驗成績，並等官方成績單出爐後再寄給申請的學校。
你可以到這裡先註冊UC Application帳號，並在系統8月1日開放之後，先登入熟悉、瞭解一下系統或開始填寫基本資料。
如何填寫UC Application
當你註冊完成後，必須回答一些基本問題，像是你要申請UC系統的哪幾間大學，值得注意的是，雖然UC系統底下有10所大學，不過在UC Application中只出現9所，因為UC San Francisco只提供研究生或專門學程申請。
其他9所分別是：UC Berkeley、UC Davis、UC Irvine、UC Los Angeles、UC Merced、UC Riverside、UC Santa Barbara、UC Santa Cruz、UC San Diego，國際學生申請一間UC大學的費用為80美元。
接著會有是否需要申請獎學金、學業成績、課外活動經歷、測驗成績等欄位需要填寫，還有一個Personal statement questions，需要從8個題目中選出4題，分別寫下字數不超過350字的短論文。
以下列出8個題目（僅供參考，確切資訊請上學校官網確認）
Describe an example of your leadership experience in which you have positively influenced others, helped resolve disputes or contributed to group efforts over time.
Every person has a creative side, and it can be expressed in many ways: problem solving, original and innovative thinking, and artistically, to name a few. Describe how you express your creative side.
What would you say is your greatest talent or skill? How have you developed and demonstrated that talent over time?
Describe how you have taken advantage of a significant educational opportunity or worked to overcome an educational barrier you have faced.
Describe the most significant challenge you have faced and the steps you have taken to overcome this challenge. How has this challenge affected your academic achievement?
Think about an academic subject that inspires you. Describe how you have furthered this interest inside and/or outside of the classroom.
What have you done to make your school or your community a better place?
Beyond what has already been shared in your application, what do you believe makes you stand out as a strong candidate for admissions to the University of California?
UC算是essay 題目滿多的學校，或許也是因為UC很多個校區的排名，都在美國大學前30名，而我們也很開心歷年來，幫助很多學生申請上他們最想去的加州大學。
填完資料後，還有一個欄位是附加資料，大部分的學生不需要繳交附加的資料，不過若你是申請藝術相關的學院，你或許需要附上作品集。
如果所有的資訊都填寫完成，可以在11月1日至30日期間送出申請，記得若缺少UC Application、申請費、SAT/ACT測驗成績（可之後再補件）及附加資料（非必須）任一項，學校不會檢閱你的申請文件。
